Most of the trails around here are rocky forest trails, where
flex, mud-tires, a narrow track and lockers are helpful in overcoming obstacles.

I've got a clip of a climb where lockers would really come in handy
[1Mb 45-second clip]

The main limitation of my truck out on the trails is limited ground-clearance
and the lack of a locker. A factory Jeep gas-tank skidplate now serves
to protect the fuel-tank, but I need to add a full belly-pan under the
transmission crossmember, which got dented pretty severely last time out.

The bottom of the framerails act as rock-sliders, though my my stock rocker-panels
have stood up to quite a beating, despite the rust that is eating them
up.
